Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is the standardized business management solution that is based upon the earlier
and well proven versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Navision.  The product is available in Cloud and On Premise versions which give you increased freedom and flexibility. All customizations are built as Extensions which are created outside of the business management solution which make upgrading simpler and more streamlined..

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud is a business management solution the you pay a monthly rental fee,
no high startup costs or investment.  Because your system would be in Microsoft’s cloud service, Azure, your life becomes
more flexible, simpler, and secure.
For those of you who wish to have your business management solution on your own server or data center there is also a version called Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central On Premise.  You purchase this version in the traditional way and then you pay a yearly maintenance fee so that you can upgrade as well as keep the license current.

Three choices for users – Essentials, Premium, or Team members
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Essentials users includes the base functionality that most companies would need. 
If you would like to have all the functionality that Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central has to offer
you would choose Premium user instead.
The third type of user is a cheaper but more limited license which is Team members.

Functions and modules in BC

No high investments - Rent or buy your license!

The business system is in oneCloud-basedversion that you rent monthly, no high start-up & entry costs or investments, the fact that the business system is also in Microsoft's cloud service Azure makes life even more flexible, easier and safer. 

 For those of you who want to own the business system on your own server/data center, there is a version calledOn Premise. You buy this version in the traditional way and pay an annual upgrade fee to be able to upgrade and keep the license alive.

Licenses - Essentials, Premium or Team Members

Essentialscontains the basic functionality that most companies generally need and costs SEK 612 per user per month,
here you will find functions such as finance, sales, purchasing and stock, projects and resources as well as personnel management.
If you also want service orders with planning and contracts as well as production / MPS, you choose insteadPremiumwhich costs SEK 874 per user and month and you then get all the functions that are available within the business system.
For users who do not work much within the business system but want to see information that is registered, there is a limited and much cheaper user called Team Member, this costs only SEK 70 per user per month but has certain limitations such as e.g. that you cannot post invoices/documents/journals, create sales orders, etc

For those who want to get started, we offerthe implementation methodologies Rapid StartandSureStep.

Rapid Startis the implementation model for companies that want to quickly get started with the standard version of BC whileSureStepthe methodology starts with a basic analysis of the company and its processes which is compared with the functionality of the business system.
Any deviations in SureStep are documented and offered to the customer through third-party products (AddOns or Extensions) or through specific system developments for your company that are carried out by our experienced and competent system developers at Update Affärrsystem

2 new versions per year!

Microsoft intends to launch 2 major versions of theB.Cper year (Spring & Fall Release), in between they release so-called CU (Cumulative Upgrades) which are cumulative and smaller  upgrades that are released between each Spring and Fall Release.

Secure with continuous backup

The price for renting your Cloud/OnLine version also includes a continuous backup of your business system and all your associated data. If something happens, all you have to do is start Microsoft's simple and intuitive backup/backup management function to secure data and read back your backup/backup.
