Microsoft Business Central Resources and Planning

In Business Central , you can post your resources, which can be both personnel and machines, etc. These can then be grouped, assigned and planned within the business system for various functions such as e.g. projects, service tasks, matters as well as production and assembly orders.

Within the Resources module of Microsoft Business Central, you can specify the capacity available for your resources. This could be your staff or machines or cars within the company. These can then be planned against different activities for maximum utilization/efficiency.

Here you can manage costs for individual resources or groupings of resources. The costs of the resources can be fixed, based on an extra percentage mark-up or extra fixed fees. You can register work types in the resource module.

Plan your resources through projects, service, production and assembly to maximize the utilization of each resource.

Through Microsoft Power BI, you can build dashboards with visual data regarding resources, capacities and their utilization.
