Microsoft Business Central - Sales & Marketing
Customers and Contacts
Through the customer/contact card, you can register new customers and contact persons. Here you enter name, address etc. and how we communicate with the customer. Next, we have tabs for default values that apply when we take orders, deliver and invoice the customer.
Sales offer
Here you create sales offers for your customers and add the articles, services and lines of text requested by the customer. The price logic in Business Central works automatically and sums up the sales quotations that are sent to the customer to later become an order.
Sales order
Sales orders can be created from sales quotes or completely manually in Business Central. You select the customer and contact as well as items and quantity, then the business system takes care of the rest. The price logic automatically calculates what the customer has to pay and when you are done, you release the order for picking.
Call order
Through avropsorder in Business Central, you can let your customer place a larger order that concerns e.g. a whole year's consumption from which you then plan withdrawals. For each call you make, a new sales order is automatically created, which is then released for picking at the warehouse.
Return order handling
If a customer is not satisfied or received an incorrect item, you can create a return order in Business Central.
When the item arrives at the warehouse, the return order is posted, which creates a credit invoice against the customer. You can also create return-related documents such as sales orders.
Sales/credit invoice
When you register an invoice, you select the customer and then the lines of text, articles, resources that the customer wishes to purchase. The price logic in Business Central calculates discounts and prices automatically. Once it is ready, you can print it out or email it to the customer.
Direct deliveries
If you want a delivery to be sent directly to the end customer from our supplier, you can use direct delivery. The purchase order will then receive the customer's specified delivery address as the delivery address instead of our warehouse.
Order promise
Through the order promise function in Business Central, you can let the business system, based on information from the sales order, calculate a possible delivery date based on the item's current and future availability in the business system.
More functions within Business Central Sales & Marketing
In Microsoft Business Central Sales and Marketing there are additional functions such as e.g. Discount and Price Management, Promotional Prices, Alternative Delivery Addresses, Forwarder and Transport Method and Calendar.
